Michael Shilale Architects, based in Rockland County, provides a full suite of architectural services, from code analysis to design to construction oversight. Their projects range from single family residences to commercial buildings, but they have a special emphasis and talent for high performance educational (K-12) and supportive housing.

Inspired by each other’s individual design practices, three architects joined forces to build a next generation design firm with a focus on integrating a creative culture, an agile and motivated network, and sustainability. Starting with this premise, Vividmark viewed the engagement as more than a standard design project, but rather an interactive journey for the partners and their communities.  

The partners are connected through their shared values and admiration for each other’s diverse experiences. From this was born the name Nexus Creative. The logo is a nod to sacred geometry and connection, essential for architecture. The three circles represent the three partners, connecting at various points and feeding into a dynamic system. The logo symbolizes the firm’s origin, vision, and purpose.

Lilker Associates is a powerhouse in building infrastructure engineering. Much of their engineering design is critical but meant to be invisible: it’s what makes buildings energy efficient and keeps occupants safe, comfortable, and connected. Similarly, Vividmark’s work with Lilker is behind the scenes.

We migrated their website to a new template and used the opportunity to optimize the backend: using Google Analytics data, we honed website keywords and search engine optimization. Every word helps drive more traffic to the new website and keep web visitors engaged. The next phase of our work is providing training and coaching to Lilker’s marketing team to deploy a social media strategy and optimize the firm’s social media presence.
