Connection in Disconnect

Maybe I pulled a little Saved by the Bell from my subconscious when creating this random response to the way I feel connection is at right now. We feel close to one another, like we are sharing fries at a diner but we don't have the intimacy created when you are close enough to know what is in someone's locker. When we disconnect from our devices - and we stop quantifying our societal rank in likes or follows - we find the connection in each other. I realize this is preposterous coming from someone whose business drives on understanding the mechanics behind driving traffic and trends. But isn't the most vulnerable and the highest form of reality also the most relatable? And when we are relatable we are allowing our audience to connect. I guess it is all a contradiction no matter how you shake it and it all pivots on being the truest form of oneself.
